Versatility Netball 24-Dulwich

On Wednesday 13th November a team of girls from years 5 & 6 travelled to Dulwich Prep School to take part in The Versatility Netball Festival run by The Wealden Partnership.

The girls from all the schools taking part were firstly split into more advanced players and development teams. All the girls from Goudhurst were put into the advanced section and then grouped into teams with a variety of girls from other schools.

The girls all played fantastically with skill and resilience. As they played in a round robin of matches and coaching opportunities the coaches were watching the teams and selected a Mot Improved Player and a Spirit of the game award from each team.

Goudhurst won more awards than any other school with Rose S winning the Most Improved Player and Rosie T, Sofia S and Matilda all winning the Spirit of the Game award.

Miss Wilkins had a fantastic afternoon and even got roped in to coaching and umpiring some games. She was so very proud of all the girls.

Well done to Rose, Sofia, Poppy A, Matilda, Tamzyn, Rosie, Gabi and Isabel.

Thank you to Miss Wilkins for accompanying the team and coaching and to the parents for arranging transport and cheerleading.
