Shakespeare 2024: A Twelfth Night Triumph!

Year 5 at Goudhurst school performed their Shakespeare play, Twelfth Night, at Benenden Girls School on Tuesday evening.  

Everyone loved performing and did really well at acting out their different characters.  It was amazing to be on a large stage in an actual theatre, in front of an audience. 

We loved to hear the laughter from all those watching, as we performed some of our funny scenes (often including the Sir Toby Belch's crew, Maria and Malvolio!)

The children's teachers were so pleased to see the joy with which everyone took part and supported each other.  Well done to each and every person involved in the production for their hard work and obvious effort. 

After our performance, we had the added pleasure of watching our sister school. Benenden CEP school, perform 'The Scottish Play'.  Their production was full of drama and murder!  Although no school children were harmed in the making of these plays!
