Orange Ovens

Brilliant baking and super scooping this week! There was plenty of real life maths and science and science involved in the process as well. The children enjoyed the fruit (juice) of their labours having created oven and baked chocolate orange brownies in the embers of the campfire and a refreshing glass of freshly squeezed orange juice.
The woods were very, VERY muddy this week and the children devised a huge mud slide testing.
We were also very impressed that some children had been inspired by the nature diary and having had their curiosity tapped had conducted thier own research to share with the group on fungi, birds and wild flowers. The nature diary is in the reception area - why not take a look when you pop in for parents' evening!
