Goudhurst Village Fete - 10th June 2023
The Goudhurst Village Fete took place on Saturday 10th June. Our head boy and girl, Jack Shimmin and Summer Rose were the fete King and Queen and opened the event. There was a huge turnout and amazing support in the glorious sunshine. Thank you to all the parents who gave their time helping on stall and behind the scenes. The PTFA raised an amazing £4,500.
What an amazing community event, the sun was shining, and the community was out in force. The PTFA would like to thank everyone that helped on stalls, donated all sorts, from sweets and chocolate, to hook a bag items, and to the people who were there early and stayed late to help pack away. Year 6 ran their own stall at the event to raise money for their leavers day and raised £180.20. Well done Year 6!
We are very lucky to have such generous supporters of the school and we would like to thank all those that donated to the Auction of Promises which alone raised £1,911.50 and also to Mr Cottingham of Watts Farms for donating the strawberries, cucumber and mint for the Pimms and Waffles stall.
