Conquering Challenges & Fond farewells

It's been a terrific term. Beech & Oak group have grown in independence, resilience and their kindness and sense of fun have shone through even on the greyest of days.
At the beginning of our series of sessions we asked the children to set themselves a challenge - something that they were interested in but would stretch them to learn more about themselves, acquire new skills, develop new friendships or develop a deeper understanding and knowledge of the wonderful world around them....and challenge themselves they did!
Some challenges were achieved quickly and new challenges taken on, some challenges were dropped and replaced with new lines of enquiry and self-fulfillment and some challenges were gradually chipped away at week on week.
During their reflection time at the end of their sessions, the children were asked to sum up their 6 Forest School sessions in just three words. The answers were full of positivity and a sense of achievement. Why not take a look at this week's videos to sneak a peak at a fabulous final session.
