COLOURDASH

Friday 1st July

A group of 30 children from Goudhurst & Kilndown entered the Colourdash event run by TWKSSP at Dunorlan Park in Tunbridge Wells. 

What a fantastic day we had running, mostly, in the sun but, occasionally, in the drizzle. Obviously the best part was getting pelted with powder paint! There were over 400 children at the event. Young Sport Leaders from Mascalls were fantastic, acting as hares, marshals and paint throwers!!!

We were very dominant. In six races we had 4 first places 1 second and 2 third places, with a large number of top ten finishes too.

Congratulations to Evie B, Eddie B, Eva and Eben for winning their races, to Summer for a second place and to Jenson & Noah for third places. 

A very big thank you for all the parents, grandparents, aunties and uncles who helped with transportation and were fantastic supporters. 

This is an event that is top of my list for next year!
