Computing

At Goudhurst, we are well resourced to allow sufficient digital educational opportunities to be experienced;  whether this is using laptops, IPads and a variety of associated peripherals including Robots, stylus, headphones, mics etc.

Computing is integrated into the broader curriculum whereever possible however discrete Computer lessons also occur; we follow the Somerset ELIM's detailed medium and short term planning for all Primary year groups (Rec to Yr 6) based on the National Curriculum Computing Programmes of Study.  They were developed by Classroom practitioners who have a specialism in Computing. 

 We have recently introduced Google Education and it's associated apps and our long term plan is for all children to have a one point logon, using Wonde to access all Computing resources.
