Bishop Trevor's Visit
On Thursday 14th November we were delighted to welcome Bishop Trevor and his Chaplin to our school. He visited all the classes and was very impressed by all the fantastic activities he saw and heard relating to this terms value Peace. He also led Collective Worship when we were joined by members of the community. The children behaved impeccably and were very engaged and enthusiastic at all times. On his return back to Canterbury he sent an email which I would like to share with you: "Huge thanks for such an enjoyable and encouraging visit this morning. Please pass on my thanks together with the assurance of my prayers to the whole community. They and you are a credit to the school. Sharing in the life of our Church schools is always an enjoyable privilege but listening into our children exploring the meaning of the Cross this morning in such rich and imaginative ways I was struck again by the schools’ commitment not only to ensure that children have an excellent education but also an opportunity to live out the key values of all that we seek to be as part of the wider Christian Community. The engagement of Governors Staff and Pupils in common task was both joyous and life-giving.” With my prayers & best wishes. +Bishop Trevor
