Today we took our learning outside and used practical equipment to help us with our skills in converting metres and centimetres. We used metre sticks and measuring tapes to work in pairs to find and record different lengths. Read More »

we have been looking at the works of Georges Seurat and have done lots of artwork relating to pointillism. The children have created beautiful pictures for their homework, and this week we used pointillism for shading, we practiced first, then painted apples using this technique. Read More »

This week we have been looking at warm and cool colours. We used tissue paper to collage in warm colours (red, yellow, orange) and then used chalk pastels in cool colours (blues and greens). The two pieces will be put together to make beautiful masterpieces next week. Read More »
