Week Beginning 18th December 2017 (Miss Wilkins)

Class 5 Zebras
For week beginning: 18th December 2017

Welcome to week 8 of term two! And here we are…the last week of term!!!This week is going to be jam packed with glitter, tinsel and a whole lot of Christmas!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank children and parents for their support and excitement for the past term, I’m slightly sad it has come to an end. What a year we have had so far. It can only get better!

Monday is Pantomime day!!! Oh yes it is!! (sorry, it had to be done!). We will be leaving school on the bus and shall make our way to see Aladdin. Please can children inform me (as always) if they suffer from travel sickness so we can organise seating arrangements. I also ask that children come appropriately dressed; along with their school uniform can they please have a hat, gloves and scarf. Thank you.

On Tuesday afternoon I have organised for the class to have a small Christmas party to celebrate their hard work for this term. I have asked, if they wish, to bring something in for the class to eat or drink. We do not need a full buffet but maybe some biscuits or crisps as they will be full from lunch anyway. I will bring paper plates and cups. If they are unable to, that is not a problem at all, we will have plenty!

Thank you for getting in the spirit with last week’s homework and supporting the children in making their Christmas games. We were unable to play these as of yet due to the weather reports (which were incredible!) taking so long to put together. I have slotted an extended period in to our timetable this week for the children (and me!) to access these! I will be sending the children home with these on Tuesday to enjoy with their family over the Christmas period!

On Wednesday we have our Christmas service at the church. The children can be collected from there at the end of the day!

And that leads me on to say I wish you all a very merry Christmas and a very happy new year! Eat lots, be merry and enjoy!
