This week we will be learning:

multiplication with regrouping

dividing a 1 or 2 digit number by a 1 digit number with an without remainders.

finding pattersn in odd and even numbers


This week we will be:

editing our newspaper reports.

looking at the features of instructions

writing an equipment and ingredients ist for a set of instructions

learning about imperative verbs and adverbs

writing a set of instructions.


This week we will be learning:

about the prefixes 'mis' and 're'

how to spell words ending in the /g/ sound spelt 'gue'

how to spell words ending in the /k/ sound spelt 'que'

revising using commas in a list


We will be looking at the relationships between electricity and magnetism.


We will be learning about Sikhism 

We will find out about the 5Ks that Sikhs use to show their faith.

Forest School

Forest School is on a Wednesday 


This term we will be doing indoor athletics and using the large apparatus. 


This term we will begin learning how and learning about pitch and rhythm, using glockenspiels.


Homework: Given out on Wednesday 29th November, returned Monday 4th December:

Maths:  Section 1, Test 11

Topic: Write a set of instructions for something you can do. Make a cup of coffee, bake a cake, whatever you like!

Spellings: Week 11 list.


We will be learning about tints, and creating artwork using tints of the same colour.


This term we will be learning Stone Age vocabulary. This week we will revising our main vocabulary for this term, J'ai, Je suis and j'habite.
