Intended Learning- Week Commencing 11.12.17

Class 1 Elephants
For week beginning: 11th December 2017

I hope you had a lovely weekend. Amazingly, we are at the penultimate week of term and, more importantly, Nativity Week! As you might be able to imagine, rehearsing our performance to make it the best it can be is our highest priority this week. I can tell you now that it is shaping up to be a phenomenal performance!

Thank you for the costumes so far. Please note that we must have the costumes in by Monday morning as we will be having our dress rehearsal to the School on Tuesday, but we are also trying on costumes and having a “dress rehearsal dress rehearsal” on Monday! Thank you.

Also, to clarify, the Nativity performances are on Thursday and Friday afternoon. I’m aware that the special day timetable for this term incorrectly stated one performance was on the Wednesday. My apologies for the mistake.

We will be doing a small amount of practise of our addition and subtraction learning from last week.

Hot on the heels of our visit from Burglar Bill last week, we are hoping to be visited by a real life police officer! Fingers crossed that our diaries will match up and we can confirm the visit.

The children will be making and decorating Christmas Biscuits. If you are available to help with the decorating process on Wednesday morning, please let me know.

We will continue to discuss the Christmas story.

We will continue our units of indoor athletics and using the large apparatus.

Christmas Jumper Day

Just to remind you that Wednesday is our Christmas jumper day- I look forward to seeing the festive outfits!
